Poll: Should we install a new commenting system?

So, the Blogger commenting system is fine and all (and getting better over time...slowly). But we're thinking about installing a new commenting system from here on out that offers up some more robust options like better comment tracking, member remembering and other neat stuff. Are we trying to get too high-tech? Do you want to avoid creating another account somewhere?

Any guidance you can give as this change will affect you, our community member, the most, is really appreciated.
Well, the results were neither here nor there, which kind of leaves us where we started. Which kind of makes us suspect that it's not such a big issue one way or another.

Thanks for your input and ideas!

Thank you for demonstrating one argument for a new commenting system, Anony.

Getting rid of Anonymous? Good call. I wouldn't mind having an "account" for SoS. You could even set something up where users could select shirts they've purchased or whatever. I'm not sure what the point would be, other than it would be awesome.

It would be great to create an SoS login/forum/community, but that's definitely too much for our current publishing platform and any addon commenting system to handle (unfortunately).

Awesome is good!

I don't mind creating another account, especially for such an awesome reason :D! I might miss Anonymous though. He has bought us much joy.

That Anonymous. He's a character, alright.
