When jecrt a.k.a. whirzle1 a.k.a. Josh -- boy does this guy have a lot of names -- hears the poo-tee-weet of a bird, he apparently thinks he's hearing a sad song. Look at that bird, though; there's no doubt that this purple and gold creature is singing joy from the rooftops.

And that's the thing that works well here. The juxtaposition of this alert, seemingly normal bird with the "sad song" speech bubble provides a compelling design that is definitely going to make some shirtsters feel pretty cool as they walk down the street.
