I'm a little ashamed to admit it, but it was more than likely a Tank Theory t-shirt that first introduced me to the world of higher-end t-shirt prints -- before that I had always been a tshirt fanatic, but with an incredibly strong emphasis on the kitschy and cheap. It was probably buying that shirt off a shelf in the front of a Japanese fashion store, as opposed to my standard practice of only purchasing from a rack in the back, that proved a main motivating force in the creation of Shirts on Sale.
I just can't believe that in the entire time we've been around, bringing you the best darn online t-shirt sales and coupons we could find, we've never had the opportunity to mention Tank Theory...until today -- the day the global economic crisis hit TT right where it hurts -- and we get to benefit with a 50% off everything sale through Monday, November 17th.
Although they may have gotten a little space hungry with the branding in the intervening years, they've really been pushing the artistic border with both wonderful and lamentable results.
