We're: $10 AUD T-shirts

4 pennies earned

This might be the first title to an update where we have to explain most components for it to make sense. First off, the name of the brand is "We're" -- yes, it's odd...yes, it's hard to describe to your friends in conversation without getting into an Abbot and Costello moment...yes, they probably could have made it a little easier to understand by tagging "Clothing" or "Apparel" onto the end of their one word moniker. Secondly, the "AUD" in the title stands for "Australian Dollars" because -- you guessed it -- We're is based in Australia.

Anyway. The big things to note about their current sale, which runs through January, is that they have seven shirts on sale for 10 Auzzie Dollars each and shipping outside of Australia is a whopping $40 flat-rate Internationally (New Zealand excluded, as usual). So this may only be a tenable deal for our Down Under readers.

$10 AUD + $40 AUD = $35.16 USD.

I'm not willing to pay that for a shirt. Especially when $22 of it is shipping.

I agree...hence the last line in the update. Of course, an enterprising person could buy out their whole stock, have them shipped for the same flat-rate and sell genuine Aussie goods stateside for a reasonable markup.

I think the point is to buy more than one - then it becomes worthwhile.

Hi there,

This is Damien from We're. It actually costs us more than $40 AUD to send items to the US, even the smallest items because we use a express courier service with insurance. More often than not we lose out but we want to ensure your product arrives quickly and if if there is a lost item or it is damaged, it is accounted for.
