Come on! This is a classic John Lennon song and you put up the Green Day cover? I'm shocked and appalled.

Sure, it's a classic Lennon song, we know that. But the design of the shirt lent itself to a more punkish vibe, so we made an executive decision to put up the Green Day version due to its relevance.

It's not like it's a bad cover, either! And trust us, we had the Lennon version up there to begin, and it just didn't quite seem right given the shirt material. Thanks for the input, though!

I was thinking the same thing about the song, but appreciated the changeup...

So I couldn't let this little rivalry exist without a fair grounding in the facts. Check out the new with NINE TIMES the goodness (open in a new tab for maximal awesomeness).

I might prefer the Richie Havens version the best.

True, the Green Day cover is pretty decent. However, it would be as if SaD had a shirt referencing "Yesterday" and you put up the Frank Sinatra cover. It's still good, but it's not The Beatles.

As for the covers themselves, Osbourne's is incredibly awful. Bowie's may be the most fun interpretation. Blind Melon's seems to miss the point. I think I enjoyed Marianne Faithfull's version the best.

I also couldn't believe how bad Ozzy's rendition is!
