In her reimagining of RCA mascot Nipper, artist Catherine Maldonado gives us a shirt with a lot of room for interpretation. Is this just another lost puppy? Or has a missing master been replaced by a newly neutered compatriot? Maybe the shielded dog couldn't see poor Nipps and posted in the 'Missed Connections' section of craigslist. That's my theory. If you can think of a better one, lets hear it!
Without knowing the title, however, it's more likely to be passed off as a sad pup confused by their friend's new headgear. I know if my best mate showed up wearing a giant cone on their head, I'd probably cock my head and perk an ear up too.
