The 18th century philosopher Mason MacCongreve wrote, "If life were made of color, then the deeper hues would bury us, the brightest tints would send our souls abroad and wish us the merriest of fare-thee-wells." There's a reason that no one speaks of MacCongreve today, and it's not just that he died of an advanced case of halitosis. It's that he really didn't make much sense.

And yet, and yet--this is a shirt with colors that make me want to travel from state to state, country to country. Look at the thick, clear psychedelic lines and the intense and childlike psychedelic colors. Cibasnide is an artist who knows that the right image can send us traveling not just the physical world but the world of the mind.
