The Egyptians believed that the brain was a useless organ, so during the mummification process they threw it aside like so much trash. The heart, however, was an organ of power. Perhaps if the ancient Egyptians ruled our world, we'd say the wheels in our hearts were turning rather than the wheels in our heads.
